The Cast

 

John Goss - Artistic/Managing Director/Vaudevillian ~ John started his musical/theatrical life with the Albuquerque boy's choir where he quickly became a featured soprano singer representing the U. S. in a European tour in 1976. Having caught the musical bug, he became very involved with the Community Theatre in Albuquerque, having performed in 20 different productions including Bye Bye Birdie where he played the title role.

His first professional job was with the Great American Melodrama in Pismo Beach, CA. where he not only played “Fernand” in The Count of Monte Cristo but had his first Vaudeville experience. John spent the next 12 years bouncing from small resort-type theatres performing in over 100 different plays/musicals with vaudeville type after shows. Having directed and created many of these shows, this is where he learned the art of putting together a fun vaudeville type revue

His more prominent acting roles include; “Dr. Jykle” and “Mr. Hyde”, “The Beast”, In Beauty and the Beast, “Dr. Frankenstein”, “Will”, in Oklahoma, “The Dentist”, in Little Shop of Horrors, “Matt”, in Fantastick’s and “Raoul”, in The Phantom. He later found himself at Boulder’s Dinner Theatre going to and from there, to working in Denali Alaska and performing on Cruise ships.

The Crystal Palace brought John to the Roaring Fork Valley where he met some of the most talented people in the state and decided to finally plant himself in this beautiful setting where he has directed or performed in virtually every theatrical venue around. He has choreographed many shows for Aspen Community Theatre where he directed and choreographed "The Music Man" in 2009.

John has had the dream of opening a small vaudeville theatre for over twenty years and it has finally come to fruition. With a wonderful building, in a beautiful location and an incredibly talented cast he hopes this will eventually become an icon and focal point for the people of the Roaring Fork Valley.

 

 

Gary Daniel - Vaudevillian ~ Gary started a successful career in the theatre in 1974 at the Dallas Summer Musicals in the show Take Me Along, starring Gene Kelly. In 1978 he moved to New York and later landed a role on Broadway and performed in several regional shows. He moved back to Dallas in 1980 to play major roles at the famous Theatre Three, including Strider, Little Mary Sunshine, and The Gondoliers. By 1982 Gary was in Aspen and became a featured player at the Crystal Palace for over twenty years. He's also been seen locally in several other venues including ACT, The Broadway Players and Theatre Aspen.

Favorite roles include "Cervantes" in Man of Lamancha, The "King" in The King and I, and "Daddy Warbucks" in Annie. Gary thanks his wife Meredith and family for encouraging him to once again hear the sweet sound of applause.

 

 

Tom Erickson - Vaudevillian ~ Tom is originally from Montana and acquired a bachelor’s degree in music education. He performed at the Crystal Palace in Aspen for seventeen years. Tom has worked in professional theaters since he was thirteen years old, performing leading roles in Oliver, Evita, Westside Story, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Into the Woods, Grease and many more. Summer of ’08 Tom played The Dentist in Little Shop of Horrors and The Cat in the Hat in Suessical with Theatre Aspen. Tom enjoys playing guitar, hacking at golf balls and playing Mr. Mom to his daughter Danielle.

 

Jennetta M. Howell - Vaudevillian ~ Jennetta grew up in Glenwood Springs and moved to NYC to study at American Music and Dramatic Academy. Go Amda Panda's! After touring the globe with Princess Cruise Lines, she moved to LA and kept busy doing theater, film, T.V. and yes the 1st commercial for spanks. Thanks to my family for letting me show my underpants to everyone we know. Enjoy the show.

 

 

Julie Maniscalchi - Vaudevillian ~ Julie is excited to be apart of this new fun filled adventure. Julie has been performing professionally for more than 20 years in the valley. She spent 15 years performing at the Crystal Palace Dinner Theatre in Aspen Colorado and has also worked with the Snowmass Repertory Theatre, Aspen’s Theatre in the Park, The Vacant Lot’s Players, Aspen Community Theatre, and The Colorado Springs Theatre. Favorite roles include; Nellie Forbush in “South Pacific”, Wendy in “Peter Pan”, Anne Egerman in “A Little Night Music”, Luisa in “The Fantasticks” ,Rosemary in “How to Succeed in Business…”, Bebe in “Chorus Line”, and Luisa in “Lady Lou”. She has taught music at Basalt Elementary, Alpine Christian Academy, and Crystal River Elementary School and has been a director for children’s theatre productions throughout the valley. Julie is happily married and has two talented and beautiful daughters.

 

 

Bob Moore - Vaudevillian ~ Bob has been pursuing his passion for theatre for over forty years now. When he’s not busy with his remodel/repair business, he is on the road acting, most recently as Frank in Over the River and Through the Woods (Miners Alley, Golden), Morrie in Tuesdays with Morrie (Backstage Theatre, Breckenridge), Saunders in Lend Me a Tenor and Herr Schultz in Cabaret (Lake Dillon Theatre, Dillon) and the Cowardly Lion in Wizard of Oz (Backstage to Broadway). Favorite roles include King Charles in Pippin (Aspen Community Theatre), Father in Summertree (Aspen Stage), Father in Proof (Aspen Theatre in the Park), Colonel Jessup in A Few Good Men and Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof (Backstage Theatre), Prospero in The Tempest, and Albert Soady in Escanaba in da Moonlight (CMC / Spring Valley). Thanks to the three loves of my life; Wendy, Mandy, and Missy.

 

 

Brad Vierheller - Accompanist ~ Brad hails from Denver, Colorado and has always resided somewhere in Colorado. He started playing "The Maple Leaf Rag” in 1978 at the Iron Springs Chateau in Manitou Springs where he worked as a Ragtime Piano Player. Thirty years later, he still finds the Maple Leaf a challenge to play. Brad has performed at The Country Dinner Playhouse in Englewood Colorado. Steamboat Springs was home for five years and Brad was a regular performer at Club Majik's in Steamboat and Vail.

Teaching piano voice and choir, Brad loves to share his talents in the classroom and is an instructor at The Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts. He holds a B.A. in Music Education from Adams State College in Alamosa where he learned how to ski powder at Wolf Creek Ski Area. He sings with the “Rat Pack Singers” in Glenwood and loves to sing in the style of Frank Sinatra and play ragtime music by Scott Joplin
